Not a good environment

Pros

Co-workers were great just the usual one or two difficult ones.

Cons

Not caring of their employees. Benefits not great. Low pay and little benefits for seasonal workers who were most of work force. Many seasonal employees had to drive their cars a lot of miles and lots of wear and tear.

Pros

* Pay and compensation ( hourly plus mileage reimbursement) * Hands-on training for the first 2-3 weeks on the job * Great experience for beginner photographers looking to learn the basics (i.e., lighting, composition, and framing) * There are plenty of opportunities to grow and develop beyond rigged photographer

Cons

If you call out sick, they will still require you to drop off and pick up your camera equipment on location. I had to drive two hours to a school (round-trip) when I had strep throat. Teachers, parents, and school administrators can be an absolute nightmare to work with, especially at smaller schools and the Pre-K level.
