Pros

This is one of the best and most rewarding jobs I've ever had, I really enjoyed working in a new location everyday and had a lot of fun interacting with the kids. My coworkers were all team players, though often you will be sent to a school by yourself. Very fast pace work. Good pay and gas compensation (make sure to file your taxes as an independent contractor) .

Cons

Very long hours on your feet and moving heavy equipment. Sometimes I had to drive over an hour to get to my school, but was always paid for my drive time. Must have a large car or hatchback to carry equipment. Limited to no breaks. If you aren't good with kids don't apply, you will be interacting with a new kid every two minutes for up to 8 hours each day. I caught two colds while working a season, so if you have a poor immune system prepare for that, though this was pre-COVID so I am unsure how things are handled now.

Pros

new experiences with students and traveling to different schools, gas card provided by the company, travel expenses covered if needed

Cons

large camera equipment outs strain on your car, driving for the job is mandatory and extremely time-consuming, pay rate is too low for the amount of physical labor
