Pros

•Hired after a five minute zoom interview •Co-workers are generally cool

Cons

•Atrocious pay •Too much travel after being told you’d be put “close to home” during the interview •Communication from upper management is near non-existent unless you’ve done something wrong, then you’re shamed despite not being trained correctly •Long, pointless training

Pros

Yay! Work with kids, take pictures. What could be wrong with that? Right?

Cons

Pay is barely above minimum wage. You will use your own car. By the end of the season you will have no money saved, and your car will be destroyed. This has to be the biggest clown shown on earth. People who have never taken a photograph before are thrown out into schools with little/no training. Support is awful. Supervisors who don’t know what they are doing push photographers to work fast, instead of letting them get good at the job, then get faster. The office staff is either overwhelmed, or not particularly competent. Information needed to do your job (like class files) aren’t provided on time. Getting supplies, equipment, or information is like pulling teeth. Heaven help you if there is ever a mistake on your pay or expenses. There is no future in this company unless you drink the koolaid.

Pros

I honestly can't think of any. This was a horrible work experience.

Cons

We would work 12 hour work days with no lunch or break, but they would sometimes make us clock out even though we didn't get a lunch. They would require I ride with someone so they wouldn't have to pay me mileage. When I was hired they told me I would work close to 40 hours a week. I only hit 40 hours once. Most weeks I would barely get 20 hours. They hired way to many people to do one job. Honestly, they treated us very poorly as employees.
