Pros

Fast paced environment, good benefits, good training overall. Management is generally friendly. Everyone is mostly in the loop with weekly meetings.

Cons

I was in a busy branch. The theory is make everyone do everything and then it's better customer experience. Which, while wonderful on paper, is ridiculous in reality. You are expected to be a teller, a customer service representative, and a lending professional. There is not enough hours in a day to do all of this while being expected to help walk in members, process Teller transactions, and process loans accurately. It is easy to drown. Not to mention, if you have a line out the door and are trying to get your loans done and accidently do something wrong- you get an error and they confiscate your bonus payout.. training is inconsistent across departments, so you are told one thing, and then another team tells you its wrong. I would float around branches and every one felt like a different company. The name change was poorly handled and caused a lot of flack against MES who had absolutely nothing to do with it. They won't promote you and there's also nowhere to move up, unless you like drowning trying to hit 350k sales goals. Several "before work" meetings a week makes for long work days.

Co Workers are good, down to earth people.

Cons

Very insincere executive management. They are heavily focused on outward appearances and will gladly sacrifice employees to achieve their goals. Pay is not great yet their messaging is all about helping the community. Their employees are the community, but many are barely getting by.

I love working for Lighthouse. It's exciting to be part of a company that is changing so fast - it provides amazing opportunities to people who want to grow and develop. It's like being in at the ground level and I know, eventually, we'll look back at what we've accomplished and be proud of the impact we've made in the community! I love the new brand and think it better represents the wide demographic of team members who work here. I'm excited for the things to come.

Cons

Sometimes, because there's so much change happening, it gets confusing to keep up with the new procedures and expectations. However, that's not a huge deal as we all have the same goals so we'll get there eventually.
