Pros

If you are blind or visually impaired and unemployed, this is a great place to get a basic job and learn about manufacturing. Good opportunity to get free braille and computer classes. Some neat people work here.

Cons

Some supervisor's are stricter than others, and some communicate better than others, but communication through the organization is a long term problem. Causes many employees to give up and "just do the job." Hopefully a turnover will help? Great to have a blind CEO but he is not in touch with what most workers really think and feel. Seems the upper executives are very separate in their nice large offices, it feels like they look down on the manual laborers as less than. Some of the supervisors are spread way too thin, doing too much, and it effects everything g and everyone.

If you are the type of employee that enjoys being disengaged and expect to clock in and just be there, this is the place for you!

Cons

Lack of communication, opportunity for advancement, exception of new ideas/different thoughts and proper management among other cons

Pros

-As stated by other on here, the company fills the company's mission statement "To create and enhance opportunities for independence and self-sufficiency for people who are blind, DeafBlind, and blind with other disabilities." But falls flat after that... -Single with healthcare is somewhat affordable, 170-190$ Monthly (Medical, eye & dental). -If you have a disablement & nowhere else to work, this place will provide a paycheck. -Great stepping stone

Cons

-Healthcare for a non-disabled employ with a family is outrageous, unless your company management & can afford to pay the costs of 450$+ for husband & wife, 850$+ for family. -Company CEO is so focused on opening another satellite company that current problems are not addressed. -Company recently "discovered" 3 million was "missing". Further driving a lack of any finical support for satellite company's. -Company HQ offers 0 support & dumps problems on lower management. -Offers no incentive to non-disabled employs to stay when better benefits & pay can be found elsewhere.
