"Quality Care in a Family Atmosphere" Is a joke - I would never treat "family" in the manner Senior Mgmt does

Pros

The hospital once was a great place to work - the past six - seven years have been in a steady decline.

Cons

The huge disconnect between Administration, Management and the workers carrying out the daily tasks/functions that actually keep the patients safe and well cared for. Administration needs completely revamped - as in ProMedica needs to clean house and get rid of the dead weight.

Pros

Great pay for PRN positions. Most of the staff are willing to help other out and generally are very focused on providing the best customer/patient care possible. If you can get passed the hours, it's not a horrible job.

Cons

Outreach phlebotomists are on call 48 hrs. straight on the weekends. One phlebotomist worked 23 hrs one day went home and slept for 5 hrs and then got called back in for an additional 10 hrs. Then got in trouble because the lead lab tech told her to take the company car home since she was still on call.
