Pros

- Name brand recognition, parent company is Linde - People will always need oxygen

Cons

-Low pay - Extremely high turnover, no effort in retention - Archaic systems and lacking in processes; needs automation. Unable to email externally. Unable to access data while outside of the office. No company cell phone or laptop provided. - Very understaffed. Not enough CSRs to properly answer phones and process referrals at the same time. Needs more healthcare specialists to provide patient care without dropping the ball. - Many employees have no accountability nor professionalism. People frequently ignore emails. CSRs cancel referrals without properly assessing eligibility. Some sales reps intentionally claim credit for another rep’s referral and it can be impossible to track. - Center manager is unsupportive and has very minimal field sales experience. Also insensitive to employees’ personal needs, such as death or illness of a parent

Pros

You get to know patients and feel like you are helping people.

Cons

Long work days. Manager states you should never assume you will get off work on time. You were never promised you would. On- call is a requirement and you must take the vehicle home. You are not allowed to use company vehicle for personal business (ie. Getting food, going to the store, running important errands). You are to stay home and wait for the phone to ring. You must try to promote/ sell aerosol respiratory drugs over inhalers. Be prepared to be micromanaged. The company does not provide company phone. Employee will provide cell phone. Company will pay $25 toward monthly cell bill only after employee prints out phone bill, must highlight all company calls, skip personal calls. Employee must take time to do this on personal time and submit fir payment. (Sales and management receive >$40 per month and only have to submit phone bill cover page - no highlighting). Employee is to understand that employee is not to expect to have a life outside of work. Manager states in meeting to ask drivers "you all are lucky to even have a job" and "people come in everyday asking for a job. I can replace you like that. "

High Turnover and Low Pay

Pros

It's a job and a paycheck.

Cons

Management operates under an 1980's sales quota model. Regardless of increases in sales, profit, EBITA, etc., none of it matters and you will be written up, forced to quit, or fired, if you do not meet arbitrary sales quotas. High turnover, low pay, poor benefits.
