Pros

Great people to work with, the Sydney centre seems to attract awesome staff. Some enjoyable teaching sessions with the kids.

Cons

Very narrow minded management and organisational structure. It was a very frustrating professional experience seeing my and others' talent, hard work and genuine kindness completely overlooked due to nothing more than personal traits. Clinicians are treated like children, and tested like lab rats. I thought the low pay was a funny joke when first informed.

Pros

I really feel like I am creating the magic of learning. Seeing the results produced from my work are wonderful. I feel like I am making a difference for each student regardless of age. School partnerships is a wonderful way to spread the opportunity to learn for those that wouldn't otherwise get the chance in a regular educational setting. The employees (non-management) are a delight to be around, always positive and encouraging.

Cons

As a Consultant, you are overworked and severely underpaid for the amount of work you do. The upper-management often conceal secrets to gain power over the rest of the staff, even if it is regarding you. They play favorites, often promoting people who do not deserve it and not developing those that need it, even if they have the potential to be great. You get chastised for giving your opinion on certain practices within each center even if you are working for the greater good. Often the "leaders" of the center act like teenage girls in the way they handle politics and communicating information.

Pros

Working with amazing children and helping them to learn, and hearing feedback from parents of children for whom the program worked.

Cons

The management at this company is almost exclusvely concerned with net profit. As a result, employee training, quality assurance, and the espoused corporate culture all fall by the wayside to pack students into their centers and seasonal locations. Honest communication with senior management is not fostered or encouraged.
