Pros

The time goes by very fast because you work with a new student every hour.

Cons

Some students are difficult to work with due to the nature of their prognosis.

Pros

-Great students -Programs genuinely help those who need it -Friendly co-workers

Cons

-Job ad and both interviews said this was tutoring. My coworkers and I didn’t learn this is remedial work until our first day at the office, and I wouldn’t have taken this job if so -No time off in summer -My center’s materials (books, workbooks) are literally falling apart -Work expected when off the clock (set up) -Poverty wages for 9 intense hours at the office is honestly unacceptable -I’m not allowed to let my kids take bathroom breaks or breaks longer than a minute. Rules generally feel draconian -I feel like a business casual dress code isn’t really needed when you’re working with mostly kids. There’s no reason dress can’t be more causal and it just feels like corporate trying to micromanage you

Thank you for your review. Several descriptions conflict with Lindamood-Bell company policies and protocols. For example, it is our company policy to comply with all regulations concerning employee breaks. To that end, we have practices in place to report and compensate for occasional unavoidable missed breaks, and it is against company policy to work off the clock. Further, our Career site and Hiring materials describe Lindamood-Bell as an "internationally recognized leader in the remediation of learning difficulties." While we appreciate your candor in this forum, we suggest you reach out to your supervisor or the Human Resources Department at support.hr@lindamoodbell.com or (800) 233-1819 to discuss your specific concerns.
