Pros

Kids are the best part.

Cons

Poor management and administration. Advertising individual approach, but using the same scripts for all kids.

Thank you for sharing your experience in the clinician role. As part of a team, clinicians are trained in our proven approach and work one-to-one with students to implement lesson plans. Consultants and directors are trained to administer assessments, make recommendations, and write lesson plans. By this model, students at Lindamood-Bell Learning Centers make consistent learning gains year after year. Thank you for informing us that this is not clear in your day-to-day. We will continue to improve on how well we help staff understand what they are doing and why as part of the instructional quality team. While we appreciate your candor in this forum, we encourage you to go to your local leadership team with questions about student instruction plans. Thank you again for your review.

Best job I ever had

Pros

I've never experienced a more positive work environment. It's not perfect, but they only hire people who are both smart and empathetic, which cuts down on a lot of the pointless petty drama that pops up in many workplaces.

Cons

Hours are wonky and not guaranteed during the off-season (which is all the time except summer.) Management is not on top of making sure people get their paid breaks. They might have you work 8-6 but give you a 2-hour lunch so you don't get overtime. Or have you come in for a 2-hour shift.

Thank you for sharing your experience with Lindamood-Bell. We are happy to hear that you are having a positive experience overall. We appreciate your perspective on the student-based schedule. We will consider your comments as we continue to improve staff experience in our learning centers. In reference to employee breaks, it is our company policy to comply with all regulations. To that end, we have practices in place to ensure our staff members receive their breaks and to report and compensate for occasional unavoidable missed breaks. While we appreciate your candor in this forum, we suggest you contact your supervisor or Human Resources (support.hr@lindamoodbell.com or (800) 233-1819) to discuss your specific concerns.
