If you were paid better and given more training it would be worth it but the pay doesn’t match the job responsibilities

Bad training, no prep time and poor communication

Pros

- You can absolutely see the difference that Lindamood Bell's curriculum provides for its students. I was there for only six months, but by the end of it there was clear and measurable progress in most of my students' language abilities. The intense curriculum and hardworking staff make that possible, and it was something really nice to be a part of for a short while - The students were great, and when they weren't I felt like I could always rely on more experienced coworkers to hop into a session and provide feedback and advice - Fun location, atmosphere - Very pleasant coworkers

Cons

- It might have been the hardest job i've ever had. Every minute is put to good use according to the curriculum and the job requires a lot of multi-tasking. after my fourth or fifth hour I'd find myself mentally exhausted. Like you have to be 100% on the entire time to simultaneously engage the student, finish the prescribed curriculum and record every student mistake. - I believe the pay was minimum wage or very close to it. I've hung up Christmas lights, carved pumpkins and worked as a baker for more money than I earned at this private education center.
