Pros

Great mission, great product, excellent folks helping a litany of people learn to their fullest potential.

Cons

Not a con really, it's just not a technology company so limited growth for software developers and data analysts.

Lot's of exposure to different projects. Many hats.

Pros

Easy entry point to education No degree necessary Certified in SPED Flexible scheduling Friendly work environment

Cons

Schedule posted weekend before start Every week schedule is different Sometimes significant loss of hours Fast food style shift work Some major holidays not observed, i.e. July 4th Constant flux of employees, i.e. quitting, leaving, traveling Some roles do not financially compensate for increased responsibility Unclear team structure with students No training for behavioral management regarding expressed symptoms of special needs children No room for personal teaching style, seems like it should be more efficient with software but because of the special needs variables it requires a human. Scientific background self funded and biased Dress code above standard and seemingly used to further the professionalism of teachers unnecessarily
