Pros

Making a difference; helping kids and sometimes adults improve reading and comprehension; paid training; very interesting to learn their methods.

Cons

High expectations for a seasonal job; intense training period; very "corporate." Clinicians provide the bulk of instruction but compensation does not reflect this. Cost of instruction is so high that it is cost prohibitive to much of the population, especially in Memphis. More of a difference could be made in the community.

Must work at least 3 mo. to keep earnings from the training. Compensation could be better.

Get to see lots of great progress for students. Coworkers are very nice.

Cons

Incredibly low pay considering what parents pay. Inconsistent schedule. Rude corporate management. Honestly, don't work here if you can avoid it.
