Self-absorbed higher management

Pros

If you enjoy foreign languages, there are many opportunites here to work with them in many different capacities and worldwide locations.

Cons

Except for one particular upper-level management I was fortunate enough to meet, upper management seems very self-absorbed. Little recognition of the tireless efforts of employees "on the front lines" helping the company to succeed. Management seemed more concerned with revenue than the value of their employees.

Pros

Ability to work from home and flexibility in schedule.

Cons

Their sales force is inept at obtaining and/or keeping contracts in the software development/test industry. They are too married to the idea of off shoring which comes with a multitude of problems for their fte's in the states and the US clients.
