Unrealistic expectations are the norm. Racism/xenphobia/homophobia/transphobia/sexism permeate all levels from the very top all the way down. This was the most miserable I've ever been in a work environment and I'm glad to be gone every day.

We understand that current staffing volumes in this department have impacted the employee experience. New leadership members have joined and this is one of their priorities to address as soon as possible.
While you are no longer at the company, the HR team would be open to hearing your detailed feedback if you would like to reach out. Any current teammates experiencing issues are highly encouraged to speak with HR to discuss any of your concerns. The negative experience you shared is not an environment we intend or want to promote.
This is the best work environment I’ve ever had hands down.
Management is thoughtful and competent. Most people are super driven and caring, which makes a big difference in the day to day environment.
One thing they do well is promote from within and really focus on doing the most good for those who need transplants.
To me, the top highlight is the people you get to work with. Their hearts are in the right place and there’s a lot of support between coworkers.
The PTO and benefits are good and pay has gone up recently. It’s also a very inclusive organization and very LGBT friendly.
Cons
Like many places, there are some slow periods as well as more intense times crunch times.
