Pros
- Typical benefits like half of 5% 401k, health coverage, starting 10 days PTO, 10 holidays. - Overtime not encouraged. - A few Employees here with 30 plus years of experience.
Cons
- Only 3 sick days (24 hours) - Lots of turnover especially in the engineering department. So not much guidance for new engineers. - When I started they advertised a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off but then someone complained and well HR doesn’t fight for the employee work life balance here. It was nice while it lasted. - Lots of Political nonsense with upper management. - No sense of guidance or direction for new hires. - No career growth here for engineers. - More of a stepping stone in the aerospace industry. Unless you are loyal and want to be a forever employee here. - When you do put in a 2 week resignation here it is most ungracefully received. It caught me a little off guard because most employers are supportive when it’s time to move on. Not here. The bridge will be burned no matter what when you leave so no use trying to be polite on your way out.
