SF Teammate - Thanks a lot for this review. I'm glad that you've had a great experience at LiveRamp over the last few years. We're where we are today because of vets like you. To your points about hiring and red tape: Those are both important topics, in part because your experience differs from what we're known for. I'd love to hear more about what you're seeing so we can learn and get on top of it. Coffee on me! - Brandon

Pros

* The people are smart, nice, and hard working. Best team I've ever worked with and the top reason I love working here. No jerks, yelling, or office politics. People genuinely want to help each other and the company succeed and grow. * Awesome technical scale. As a software engineer the second best thing about LiveRamp for me is the challenging technical problems. There is always something to keep you mentally stimulated and engaged with co-workers on problem solving. * LiveRamp continues to adapt as we grow. Particularly on the culture side, which has always been a strength and focus, it's hard to scale but we find new ways to keep the great aspects from the past with evolving implementations and programs. * Programs like Leading at LiveRamp help us continue to grow managers internally and create important connections between leaders from different parts of the organization. * The business is continuing to grow, which means continued challenges and growth possibilities for everyone at LiveRamp * RampCamp, our annual company camping trip. Just getting back from this now and could not be more happy. It's grown into an awesome event for employees of all ages from our offices around the world and their partners/families. Great bonding experience and chance to connect with people you don't normally work with.

Cons

* No matter what role you're in there is just so much to do. If it weren't for the great team this would get exhausting. * Related to the above, hiring has been a challenge and not kept up with the fast pace of growth.

Thanks for this review! I'm glad that LiveRamp is exactly as you'd expected: high degrees of freedom and responsibility, kind and hardworking teammates, and lots of room to grow. Our pace will continue to be fast given the amazing technical and business opportunities in front of us. Meanwhile, we're investing in more recruiters so that we can hire as fast as possible—while keep a high bar—to ensure we succeed. - Brandon

Pros

- Awesome and talented people. I don't think there 's anywhere else with a better mix of kind, intelligence, caring people. - Huge opportunities for personal and career growth. - Really interesting problems being solved. On engineering, I am working to solve hard problems at a scale very few other companies see. My team owns several apps that process 100s of terabytes or petabytes of data per day. - Work life balance is great. - I have an amazing degree of autonomy. - Exciting opportunities with LiveRamp going to be an independent company. - Compensation/benefits are pretty average.

Cons

- Product and engineering systems are very complex by nature of our business, the scale we operate at, and the growth we've had. Slowly improving here, but it can be hard as a new person to figure things out. - Compensation/benefits are pretty average.
