Pros

+Good experience/exposure to international trade which can help you get a better job. +My co-workers were great. That's the one thing I really miss. +Great 401(k) offering. +Training was good. They didn't just plop you down in front of a computer and expect you to know everything. They took time to train people, which I appreciated. +Great for college grads and people looking to get into the International Trade industry. They should work at Livingston for a few months to get the exposure to the industry, and then start looking elsewhere for new opportunities (which is exactly what I did).

Cons

-Management is in meetings all day and it felt like you could never have one on one time with them because they were running from meeting to meeting ALL DAY. -Micromanages every aspect of the team's work. -We had mandatory daily stand up team meetings that would last up to 40 minutes that were a complete waste of time when we had time critical assignments to complete. -Lots of favoritism. -Pay is meh. -Medical benefits aren't very good. -HIGH turnover rate. -No real career growth. This is a stepping stone to help you along to another -better- job.

Great potential; poor execution.

Pros

Business model of customs expertise being able to help other companies is viable and has great potential.

Cons

Inept management. Buddy system for management irrespective of ability. Classic example of Peter Principle. Poor pay. No training for supervisors or managers. No career path for employees. Employees treated as clerks. Inability of management to recognize and address fundamental business issues. Additional issues: 1) huge turnover in major expertise areas, not addressed. 2) Little to no recognition of recurring IT issues or willingness to fix. 3) No communication on progress (or lack thereof) to identified issues.

Pros

Good work/life balance if you are in an administrative position. The office remodel was very nice.

Cons

Company closes smaller offices and instead of offering relocation packages, they just hire for new positions in new offices.
