      Interesting work; disappointing compensation. A great place to learn and gain experience.

      Pros

      The work was very interesting and I gained a lot of valuable experience. There are some amazing engineers there to learn from.

      Cons

      The pay was below average and advancing has become very difficult since Michoud Operations has been merged into Lockheed Martin Space Systems. The workload and overtime expectations were excessive at times (although some overtime is paid, even for salaried positions).

      Pros

      Everyone here is very helpful and respectful. Ther are all willing to make sure you know what it is you need to do.

      Cons

      It's seems common to have a very tight schedule on getting things done, can seem overwhelming at times.

      Competitive salary, benefits and retirement, many locations around the country, development programs for career advancement

      Cons

      Experiences can vary greatly from program to program, training and development opportunities have been limited in the past few years, can be difficult to get recognition if you aren't on the "right" program, advancement can be slow unless you have a senior or executive level employee giving you recommendations.
