Much of the management is ex-military with long tenure with the company, they tend to be rigid with "in the box" mentality. If you are creative and innovative, it's hard to sell your ideas or introduce a new approach to things.

The contract I am working under is cheap. There is no room for advancement. They don't help pay for any classes to help improve our knowledge of the software we need to use. The management in my department is horrible. If you liked being talked down to and told that you do everything wrong then it's fine. My hours were cut because of the lack of work they have coming in.
