Pros
I have worked here for 5 years as a union represented hourly employee. The work pace is as fast as you make it. You are treated well and hardly disrespected. There are times work can be stressful but this is by far the best company I’ve worked for. Albeit I have only ever worked for 3 companies and the military. I would I highly recommend this company.
Cons
Pay is competitive but not as high as other companies in the defense industry. Occasionally stressful.

Pros
- 4 day work week, 10hr days, friday off. Option for 9hr days with every other friday off. - hybrid, but could probably persuade to be remote fully? Knew a few major players who did full remote and ppl didnt seem to care - maybe they argued for it idk. Had to be in-person to get equipment and employee card pictures. - pay felt good for what i did. could probably do less if thats your thing, or do more and lead stuff and level up for promotions. - I knew someone who promoted in 1 year out of uni to 100,000 yearly doing code reviews and leading scrum. - I got a systems thinking award with 1k cash bonus for helping initatives outside my team.
Cons
- Planning meetings every 3 months in person but I didnt feel i needed to be in-person. At least it was at the office i was close to. - my project was split into smaller teams, but those teams kept getting mixed around every 3 months. felt isolated and a little confusing. - that same reorg stuff moved my managers around. i didnt know who my manager was, and they didnt ever talk to me. I was having some mental issues and needing a break and they didnt help me figure out a way to do that while staying at the company. partially my fault tho - all the 'training' provided was not very good imo, both ethical and technical. pretty basic. might the same for all companies tho, idk
