      Career stifling; no upward promotion potential w/out spending majority of time on political positioning

      Employee salary payments prompt; high integrity within corporation for doing things right (per corporate policies); consistent emphasis on compliance with EEO, no bullying, etc

      Employee initiative is stifled and not rewarded; mgmt wants to maintain status quo; not encouraged to be creative and assist in revenue growth strategies nor methods to increase customer satisfaction

      Because of the critical nature of the techologies, products, services and programs, proven experience is a prerequisite to progress into higher levels of management. This is not a fast-track environment.

      Good pay, mission is very important, good people to work with. Very process oriented.

      Cons

      Management is more concerned with cost and schedule than quality. Training is hard to come by. Very process oriented, even when it's not necessary. Benefits have gotten progressively worse.
