      The technology: You're working on some incredibly advanced systems. It's intellectually stimulating. The mission: There's a real sense of purpose that comes with contributing to national security. Career development: Lockheed Martin invests in its employees. There are opportunities for training and advancement. Benefits: The company offers a comprehensive benefits package. The people: Many very intelligent and dedicated people.

      Cons

      Bureaucracy: As with any large corporation, there can be a lot of red tape. Travel: Field engineer roles often require extensive travel, which can be demanding. Sometimes the work can have very long hours.

      It is a hybrid position

      Cons

      The corporation is NOT what people on the outside THINK it is. They low-ball salaries for the Admins and they work their butts off! The Medical ins so expensive, you can't afford it and the company doesn't pitch in. They only give you a certain amount and time for training, and if you need more, they terminate you.

      Lockheed Martin is a great company to begin your career with opportunities to grow in the long run. The work we do is impactful and can provide great sense of pride in your job. The company is large enough to where if you get bored or want to learn something new, you can move to different teams or business areas without leaving at the company at all.

      Cons

      Promotions and moving upwards can be difficult as there are strict years of service policies.
