Pros

Great benefits, good employees can expect to work there as long as they want.

Cons

Lockheed usually deals with large projects that move very slowly, good old boys environment. In rare instances the environment may not be friendly to minorities. The secure environment and the badge in, badge out gates feels confining. Military culture where upward mobility is more based on years of experience.

Pros

Management is understanding of life outside of work leading to great work-life balance.

Cons

Decision making can be very slow which is a reflection of the number of layers of approval necessary for change and the complexity of the products.

Pros

Competitive salary, great benefits, flex hours, great work location

Cons

The workload was heavy and the work days were long. There was no formal training so I was forced to learn on the job. My manager was always on travel and was difficult to reach. Coworkers were dog eat dog and difficult to work with.
