Terrible!

Pros

Pros section shouldn't exist for them! -Terrible working environment and culture. -No opportunities for growth and no raises. -No respect for your time off as there are few engineers available and you will work on your day OFF regardless. Apparently you are always needed.

Cons

The 3 musketeers, David Rizzo, Kish Dill, Chris O'Malley have no idea what they are doing. Making huge re-structural changes and leaving engineers confused without a clear guidance or a plan! Forced Product Owners to become scrum masters and laid off the MVP Product Owners as apparently they were not "good enough" to be forced into a Scrum Master role, and with the huge layoffs going around you better stay quiet! Please stay away!

As LogRhythm transforms how we work to better serve our customers, the engineering organization is transforming how we use an agile development methodology which is proven to be more effective in meeting customer needs. This change is essential in our strategic efforts to continuously improve software quality, delivery velocity and organizational efficiency. In large part this change was driven by feedback, over many years, from engineering on the former Agile methods being unnecessarily bureaucratic and frustratingly burdensome with poor results. People would compare our past Agile practices to being “Waterfall like.” Given that we’ve already seen improvements in quality, velocity, and efficiency, engineering’s feedback that drove the change was spot on. We respect and value team members who are working through the change and are excited about the future of the company.

Pros

Had some great benefits on paper, some great execution on some small employee benefits (e.g. free food Fridays).

Cons

The culture was shockingly a mess and unethical at times - teams didn't work together, cut-throat behavior was encouraged, encouraged leaders to lie to employees to benefit the company, etc. Product was near impossible to make work in any large enterprise...small business fine, but once we started speaking about medium company - it fell down.

Pros

Location. Free food Friday. Great benefits.

Cons

Sales Development Representative position is not at all like what they try and sell you on in the recruiting process. The mismanagement of this group reflects poorly on the organization as a whole. I would not recommend this position to my worst enemy. Micro-management, bullying, harassment.... You name it, I've seen it.
