Pros

There are many good things at this company - at the core are some very good people. Like most companies there are a few apples that need to be thrown out of the barrel that management are blind to but HR has done a good job a finding good talent. They do love their food and beer...

Cons

Not so good at keeping good talent. Don't get sick...after I was diagnosed with cancer, I was told to turn in my laptop and badge and keep in touch. Did not hear from a soul - purported great benefits were a joke. Medical insurance as well as disability was a nightmare. Was a little sad to leave but it was time.

Pros

Garter Magic Quadrant Leader (in 2018)

Cons

Legacy technology missed the market opportunity to monitor IaaS and SaaS. Unattainable goals, daily forecast calls, minimal lead genThe only people coming close to hitting numbers are farming existing business. Enablement and messaging lacking. The pre PE veterans have long since left.

Pros

Lots of talented coworkers to learn from. Half-days every Friday through 2020. Good work/life balance.

Cons

- Ever since the pandemic began, compensation & benefits have been constantly decreasing. First they took away the 401K match, then cut our salaries 20% for 3 months with no plan to ever make us whole, then they decreased benefits, and removed a small "health-plan opt-out credit". - There is no PTO, you can still take a reasonable amount of vacation, but you can't save up the PTO and get the money if you leave the company. - The "greenfield" project is also pretty process & meeting heavy. it can be very difficult to get things done at times. - Poor implementation of "agile" that's requires too many meetings, and includes odd rules that slows, or sometimes prevents, work from being done if a team finds themselves ahead of their plan. - There's an unfortunate culture of "all things must be the same", so each micro-service has to have the same design regardless of how appropriate that design is to that particular service's domain. - The architects have a tendency to micro-manage, which they can't do given the scope of the project, so it causes delays, frustration, and sub-par output from the teams. - Product Management is mostly absent. Engineers do not get requirements, and are forced to guess what needs to be done, resulting in re-work, delays, and more meetings.

LogRhythm Response

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. We agree that LogRhythm is fortunate to have a lot of extremely talented employees! And half-day Fridays has been very well-received. It is our small way to say ‘thank you’ to our valued team members, thanks for making note of it. Like many companies, LogRhythm has been impacted by the global pandemic. We aimed to proactively and aggressively protect the livelihoods of our entire team to ensure that we emerge strong and well-positioned to ensure LogRhythm’s future. As such, we made the very difficult decision to take temporary salary reductions across the entire company. The reductions lasted 3 months and pay for the entire company was restored over two months ago. Both the salary reduction and the pause in the 401K match were always intended to be temporary in nature and that is the way they were communicated. We are currently reviewing ways to reinstate the 401K match. In terms of changes to benefits, the initial rate increase we received was substantial with percentage in the double-digits. We evaluated our options thoughtfully to renew benefits with the least amount of financial impact to employees. This meant that we had to make some tough choices. We reduced the amount of the increase by over 15% and LogRhythm absorbed the total cost of the benefits renewal, which means that employees did not experience an increase in the amount they pay for benefits. The “health plan opt out credit” is provided by less than 1% of employers according to the survey information we were provided. As it is not market practice, we decided to prioritize keeping the rate employees paid the same over the opt out credit. One of my colleagues will respond to the product questions. Most important, we very much appreciate and recognize the sacrifice made by every employee during this difficult time. We are proud of our employees’ tenacity and are humbled by the effort of many to drive forward as a team - One Team. One Dream.
