Pros

Revenue is stable, due in part to cloud subscription. Also, sales commission is meaningful with regard to overall compensation

Cons

No meaningful career development track. Acquisition strategy seems to overshadow a true SaaS product strategy. Rankings fell out of Gartner magic quadrant, and the company has not recovered from this.

Pros

Some good people in there. Public company on paper. Execs like to share how they have millions in the bank but pay is below market. Raises, 401K, and bonus are a joke. Millions in the bank means that your meagre wages will be paid on time.

Cons

- Outdated technology, old-school mentality, obsolete company - Poor upper and middle management. Just look at the turnover in marketing - HR is rude, absent and completely USELESS - Little to no diversity - Makes employees sign agreement to repay recruitment fees if they choose to leave before a year of employment.
