Pros

the products, the people and their passion. The global nature of the company mean that you can work anywhere in the world.

Cons

Some of the senior management need to go. The Regions need to be pulled back into line, especially the America's region - what a joke! To many people promoted without the necessary skills and experience. Some senior managers cannot make a decision and have abdicated all decision making to the Regions - which only makes it more vague and complex in terms of who does what. To many senior manager decision are not backed up with actions - it's a "we want this to change, now you figure it out' mentality.

Pros

Decent pay and benefits Name recognition for your resume Cool technology Working with some of the brightest people out there There really are some amazing people working at Logitech in Toronto (Canada). If you can ignore most of the senior management, it would be a great place to work.

Cons

Management disconnected from reality All R & D is tied to products with ship dates already set. Nobody is willing to take a chance on researching something that may delay that. Lack of connection between performance and recognition / respect / pay No direction or feedback from management when projects begin turns into obsessive micromanagement when projects near the finish line. Overall the management strategy seems to be: 1- delay making any decisions, and finally abdicate all responsibility when the project risks being cancelled. 2- swoop in months later and complain that the project lacks proper direction. 3 - micromanage until the project is actually in jeopardy. 4 - blame your team because after all, you've abidcated all of your responsibilites.
