Pros

Good benefits- 401k match, quarterly profit sharing, espp and 4 weeks of pto to start. Depending on the department you are working for, seems like a family friendly company. Willing to accomidate schedules and allow flexible hours and working from home.

Cons

Seems the bigger the company gets, the more inefficient it gets. Too much politics sometimes and tasks are done just for the sake of doing them. Also, as the company gets bigger, the work increases and more and more is piled on top of employees, but no additional headcount is added. Also, the annual pay raises are very low. Even for high performing individuals, the percentage is not even 5%. Not much incentive to really meet all the goals assigned.

Pros

The people are nice, the benefits and pay are adequate, the products are excellent, and schedules for most positions are flexible (and often include telecommuting).

Cons

The company's downfall is a combination of inadequate communication, too little training and direction, unreasonable deadlines, lack of adequate planning and resource allocation, and excessive workloads due to insufficient staffing. The company often acts without fully considering execution which creates a stressful and frustrating work environment for its already overloaded employees. Logitech is a fast-growing company that is buckling at the seams. Though likely to continue its economic growth, it will suffer as an organization if does not realize the value of its employees and act accordingly.

Pros

great benefits, profit sharing, consecutive growth.

Cons

in mechanical engineering, you have to travel overseas a lot and deal with problems related from offshore division. Offshore asian engineers have different mentality compared to the state. When you travel to taiwan or china, you expect to work a lot of hours and get the job done. There is constant communication problem between US and offshore engineers. You may have a design review at offshore site. You are the only person travel from the US and tons of asian engineers sitting in the conference room critique your design. It is not a good ad easy relationship. Product development time line is really short. One project is about 9 months. It started in sept, by march of next year, you better al nail down the issues, because validation coming up next few months, then production in summer and ready to ship worldwide for december holiday season distribution.
