This company has grown well but possibly too quick. Great view of eau Claire Market.

Cons

I/we believe there should be some internal education challenges for leadership roles. System consultants are constantly adding to their skillset while leads and managers are not. Seems the consultants are at risk, soon the company will be nothing but managers if they keep laying off good people. Long View does not own any patents; its success is 100% people. Let go some of the first generation team for good example of fairness. Some employees are close to head office directors, they will be safe, but those who work hard and are not close are not safe. Directors cannot see past their nose.

Pros

When you have a good lead you're fine, as you will see good reports on this Web site. Some are possibly from management logged in as Full-time employees. Pay is OK, but you have to fight for what's yours.

Cons

The majority of low hanging fruit are at risk everyday at Long View. This company has spent soo much money on their office relo during the downfall of oil that low end managers are faced with tough decisions while upper managers hide. This company is very top heavy.

We recently moved into our new office space as we had outgrown our previous home and needed a larger office to make room for all the great people we are continuously adding to our company. Although the economy in Calgary is having a tough time as of late, we are excited about our new office space and believe it is a great improvement for our staff. We continue to keep the best interests of our employees top of mind at Long View; we value each and every position held within our company. We also aim to send out two annual Satisfaction Surveys a year to all staff to ensure we are receiving sufficient feedback on how we are performing as a company. We appreciate your thoughts!

Free (Cheap ) food Free drinks Fun holiday party .... seriously nothing else as Pros...

Cons

No qualified management It`s all about managers and nothing about their employers You are left on your own and they will just put a lot of work on you, they also ask you to day no but if you do then they treat with disrespect It`s like a brotherhood at the end For training, you have to be friends with someone and not earn it You need to be a boot licker to gain respect and not cauz of your technical skills
