Pros

Hard to pick a more promising space to be in - video is really taking off. There’s no shortage of interesting projects which makes a great place career wise. Incredibly flexible on where and when you work.

Cons

Lots of growing pains - still working on process and alignment. Can be intense - great if you’re up for learning but not if you’re looking to coast.

Pros

- a candid, curious, mutually-supportive team - takes their core values seriously, and celebrates the people who demonstrate them - takes diversity, equity, and inclusion seriously - a product that actually makes the world a better place (rare in venture funded tech companies) - lots of exciting challenges to tackle, and the space and autonomy to tackle them

Cons

- hypergrowth and product market fit are good things for valuation but can be challenging in day-to-day experience: there's more work than people, and priorities evolve fast. Means lots of opportunities for impact, but it's not for everyone - there can be a lot of noise in a highly transparent company culture (worth it IMO)

Cons

- Loom is start up undergoing a lot of change - it won't be the right place for everyone as things change a lot and quickly - Market is getting more competitive so I hope we continue staying focused on shipping innovative product
