Pros

- Some of the best people I've ever worked with - kind, smart, and great senses of humor. - The founders are humble and friendly. They always look to people with the right expertise when solving problems, and are always striving to improve themselves and the company. - Autonomous work with high, visible impact. You'll be solving unique problems and work closely with other functions across a fairly flat organization. - This is my first remote job and the onboarding was painless, I always feel included in discussions, and am free to manage my time and work. - I'm very aligned with the company values and see them demonstrated in my interactions with my team and other Loommates weekly. - I see a healthy culture of taking time off, and managing personal needs (especially during COVID).

Cons

The upsides for me may be downsides for others: it's a fast-paced environment where decisions can be made or changed quickly. You may have to operate within a fair amount of ambiguity and define your own path and goals.

Pros

-Truly remote-first - lots of flexibility in scheduling and personal responsibility for getting the job done -Culture of personal investment and excitement for our work and product. We all use Loom every day! -Very generous benefits -Great balance between the energy of a young startup and the stability of a more established company -Great people - I'm impressed by how Loom has managed to cultivate close working relationships despite the remote-first focus (lots of virtual coffees/trivia/yoga, company-wide calls, fun Slack channels etc.) -Total responsibility and ownership of individual roles (with truly interesting work!) -Down-to-earth and accessible leadership

Cons

Normal challenges that come with rapid growth, especially with a very global team, but I've been impressed by how Loom has tackled these challenges.
