Pros

You will be overworked at Lorien but it's really a rewarding job. Everyone helps everyone. Great team. They look for the best nurses to fill their spots.

Cons

A lot of open shifts. Having to scramble to find help.

Pros

Helpful nurse manager, and helpful staff. The staff members are very open to helping out as long as you show respect and not dictate them. The physicians are very open to answering educational questions to help the care of the residents here, absolutly loved the learning experience with the physicians and CRNPs, very knowledgeable. Upper nursing management do listen, but try to go up the ladder before going to the head.

Cons

Watch your back, some people tend to "tattle" here about private conversations even if its outside of work. Management sometimes are very quick to judge based on one person perspective instead of investigating the situation.

Pros

fellow employees were very friendly and great people! The facility has gone through vast improvements over the past few years as well.

Cons

it was difficult working with the patients and very depressing. It wasn't a good experience for me but the work was good.
