Pros

Great compensation at $15 per hour Putting Louis Vuitton on a resume is always impressive All of the associates are very supportive and helpful

Cons

Management does not communicate well with the associates especially when it comes to changes in the store and changes in the product. Management does not train associates very well...the associates are thrown on the sales floor and expected to know everything about the product...not smart since they have demanding daily sales goals.

Pros

Generous discount, dry cleaned suits, good hourly pay

Cons

Having worked there for about 2 years I have learned that management always has to have somebody on the chopping block, maybe to flex their power. Management is very secretive, and information is not given that might be needed to better serve customers. Trying to order an item in is impossible because nobody will work together and requests are usually ignored, and then customers scream and scream when the order is not fulfilled. The customers are generally awful and act entitled. Recently, they have done a training for all employees which was the first helpful training I have received, as I was not trained in the first place, just dumped onto the sales floor. I still feel unprepared for the job, maybe because management will only point out the negative. My eyes twitch non-stop. I have not taken a weekend off in 6 months, because the last time I did, I missed my sales goal and got my discount taken away for 6 months. This is the only company I have worked for that does not offer part time employee benefits like sick time or holiday pay. The amount of paperwork for every thing is disgusting, and wasteful. When I talk about it, I realize just how much I don't like working there. I hate to hop around jobs and cannot find anything else at the moment. There is 0 room for advancement, in my 2 years I have only seen people get fired, and not 1 promotion. I miss my old job.

Pros

LVNA is a great company to work for, it offers great benefits and salaries alongside other marginal benefits. Sometimes the work environment can get very tense as it is a sales environment and there is a lot of competition going on between peers and managers. A good thing is that LV is one of the most recognized and acclaimed fashion housed of the world; so there is some sort of pride and satisfaction in working for them and being part of their team.

Cons

There is a lot of competition on the workplace; there are little career development opportunities if you have little experience or knowledge of LV.
