Pros

Plenty of work hours to go around, overall employee benefits are great, and you might even make a few friends to hang with outside of work.

Cons

Management team isn't very supportive, company staffs employees improperly (Only 2 cashiers most of the day), You'll be asked to do many different jobs besides your own if you're the only person with a diverse skill set. Most members of management are condescending.

Underpaid for such a huge company Unprofessional and untrained Management from the top. Hostile work environment. NO open door polices! Employees DON"T matter! Unable to speak up about an issue without retaliation.

Pros

My co-workers were the best reasons I loved working at Lowe's but now they're all quitting for better jobs with better pay and better treatment are they getting fired for things that other associates, favorites, get away with all the time.

Cons

The pay sucks. The managers have so much responsibilities put on them that they end up treating the associates like crap. The store is always staffed with the least amount of people so that one person ends up having to do the jobs of multiple people in multiple departments. Not having an HR in the store has made work life miserable. Complaints go unanswered and Associates feel like they're unable to approach their managers. Associates don't feel there is hope for promotion anymore. I used to recommend many friends and family members to apply at Lowe's. I'd tell them it was a great place to work. I don't do that anymore.
