Pros

Benefits are good, remote and took a chance with hiring me on.

Cons

Management in certain departments are unprofessional, hypocritical, unappreciated of hard work others do for them, demeaning and do not know how to manage or help others when help is being asked. Some managers are quick to blame others when something goes wrong without getting all the facts and never takes ownership for their own mistakes. High expectations of perfection which is nearly impossible. Certain managers have been known to speak negatively about other employees to other employees or those outside of the company and have on several occasions been caught telling outside customers, vendors etc. to not send documents or their payments to certain locations because those working at those particular offices, they claim it's a possibility it will get lost when in turn, again, they did not get all the facts of what may or may not even occurred and they def. don't care to listen especially those whom they see as below them or less valued. It's all about power, title and control to these people.

Pros

Absolutely none… maybe the sparkling water was n break room.

Cons

The worst example of smoke and mirrors I’ve experienced Im my 10 years in the professional world. I accepted my role with lower end of 2021, and had to wait a few months until the next start class. With the impression I had from conversations with current employees I knew, and the recruiting team I though the opportunity was worth the wait… big mistake. Come to the first week of work it starts to seem that I might have been placed into the wrong role, as is was not what I was told during the interview process or what I have heard from the people I knew that work there… We end up calling together a meeting with a leader in the sales team to discuss the issues everyone had. A question came up stating… (This doesn’t seem like the role I applied for… why wasn’t I informed of this in the two months I waited to start?” And it was completely ignored and he went on to ask if there were more questions! Lol Needless to say I chose to resign and a few others did as well. Choose your path wisely.

Thank you for the feedback. We are sorry to hear about your experiences at Lower. Transparency is a priority to us. The meeting that you are referencing was called together by our leadership team to educate new sales hires on a change to the career path. The goal was to provide a rotational experience that would teach the team different components of the sales process as they grew into their Loan Advisor role. We wish you the best!

Pros

Your coworkers are very good people.

Cons

- They skip your first paycheck. - They will find a way to not pay you your last paycheck. -They do not tell you the facts about your job. Read the employee handbook carefully. They will lie to about what is in there. -Negative PTO will be deducted from your last pay. -If you leave the company you will have to pay for your license. -Benefits are a joke. -There is no real salary. You are commission only. -There are much better jobs out there if you apply yourself.
