A lot of opportunity to make money and a lot of potential to move up the ladder or switch departments if what your doing isn't for you. Good Pay - A base plus commission gives you the opportunity to have some big paychecks Very Supportive team members - I can go to anyone and ask for help or Advice Great Environment - Drama free and plenty of fun opportunities for employees such as going to Crew games at Lower.com, Having Coffee and Donuts with the owner of the company and fundraiser golf tournaments. Management also makes you feel valued which is huge for me. I've quit jobs in the past because I didn't feel like I was cared about or appreciated for the hard work that I provided. That is not the case at Lower.

Cons

Work/ Life balance can be an issue. This job is truly what you make of it. You can work 9-6 and close loans but if you really want to make money and build up your clientele you need to be available off the clock as well.

One of the nicest offices I've worked in

401K match and benefits are terrible for a company that makes "billions". No sick days which is unethical in my opinion. Commission structure is an utter joke that is constantly changing. 9am-6pm (9am-7pm on Mondays) which is way more hours than any other lender/bank out there. Have to deal with angry customers daily who get screwed over by this company's antics and constant last minute changes to closings and costs. Can't rely on operations at all. A bunch of Kool-aid talk where they'll tell you "the grass isn't greener on the other side", but it really is. We were celebrating top performers every month, but abruptly stopped. Company has 3-4 bad months and that goes out the window... no wonder morale is at an all-time low and everyone is looking for the first opportunity to get out
