Pros

The people are one-of-a-kind and it's a great place to work. I love that the allow each person to let their strengths shine and they acknowledge, value and reward their employees in so many ways. It is hard to find a gem like this as an employer but Lozano Smith truly sticks by their philosophy and commitment to excellence in every way possible. The team is incomparable, and a very high caliber staff.

Pros

If you work hard and bring in results, you are valued and encouraged to learn and grow. Work-life balance is encouraged and doable. The "no-jerk" policy is truly enforced.

Cons

Nothing worth mentioning. I really enjoy working here.

Statewide education law firm with established, industry leading attorneys.

Cons

The firm has very few clients in Southern California and doesn't put effort into expanding its Southern California presence. Employees in the San Diego office are neglected and serve as remote support for the firm's Fresno and Northern California offices, with little to no oversight or direction. Forced to choose between working in practice areas hired for and not making hours or working in multiple practice areas you may not be comfortable in. Management ignores you when asked for help.
