Pros

The opportunity to gain experience in high end retail. High energy and fast paced environment. Great soundtrack. Everyone on staff gets experience with sales, stock and visual so associates are exposed to many different aspects of the retail field.

Cons

Management has no respect for staff. Corporate constantly saying to be proactive when reactive maneuvers and strategy are the status quo. Opportunity for advancement from within is very limited. Management hired on image, not skill or potential. Poor training and development. HR that does not approach everyone or every situation in a respectable, fair or confidential way. Contradictory perception put out by corporate and Senior management (example- Receiving a great review, followed by being told you are not promotable). This organization is not interested in developing or retaining the talented staff they have in many locations, while sub par managers are not held accountable for poor performance and continue to accrue tenure and keep their positions. Company does not have a clear identity and this is reflected in every aspect of the organization, from product quality and consistency (which the company leads the consumer to think is American made when over 90% is, in fact manufactured overseas) , business approach and analysis, training, visual directive, customer service, and hiring. All in all, this company is not interested in servicing its internal client or appreciating the hard work their teams do.
