Pros

Fun and dynamic environment Salary is pretty competitive for the field Really affordable health/vision/dental benefits Opportunity to learn a variety of skills

Cons

Not a lot of room for advancement (hardly ever promote from within. Always hiring a manager from outside that YOU will have to train to be your boss) Aggressive pressure from upper management (DM, RVP, etc.) to not just meet but exceed KPIs each period Necessary renovations are rejected so newer locations can be built/remodeled (safety hazard in my location has been rejected for repairs for years, yet newer ones are being renovated/re-branded every month) Raises are few and far between Job descriptions list salaried managers at 40 hours per week, but 48 is actually the expected minimum Constantly understaffed because pay scale for hourly positions is WAY under similar jobs

Pros

Its an easy job. The people that I work with are the best group of people and the regular league bowlers are awesome as well.

Cons

I work 3 different positions several times a week..i get the same pay. I've worked here for months never got a 10-15 min break or a lunch. Instead of a free item, we get 50% off which is still pretty expensive when you're working several days, only making $8-$15/hr They have well qualified people already on payroll who can do the jobs they hire outsiders to do, so quality people leave because they're overlooked.
