Large organization that operates like a start up.

Pros

Colleagues, discounts, opportunities to expand skill sets.

Cons

The company always had a turn and burn problem. The organization operates with a start-up vibe of overloading individuals with work and underpaying them. Some departments had what seemed unlimited budgets for increases while others barely could give 3% increases to top performers annually. The upper management paints a picture of caring about their employees, but actions speak louder than words. During the pandemic, employees were encouraged to sign up for text notifications for company updates. Updates were never provided. The organization had a great opportunity to stand up and show they cared about the well-being and livelihood of their employees and never took it. It was quite disappointing.

Pros

It pays well. Thats it

Cons

Terrible company with terrible ethics. No work life balance. Middle management makes poor leadership decisions and lacks integrity. Training was non existent. No support from other departments. Pricing structure is questionable and labor model is unrealistic- 8% direct labor expectations on a center that did $4 mil in sales. It was always understaffed and turnover was super high. The cyclical nature of the business made it extremely difficult to hire and retain employees. Their policies were shady on everything from cash handling, food safety, maintenance of the facility, and customer service. Please don't work here.
