Pros

LHT is a great company and industry leader; 401k match is top notch. They offer a great product and high prestige in the market.

Cons

Poor pay compared to market - they match pay to German standards which are lower thanks to generous welfare state. Germans are often brought in to take key roles - it seems there is a high mistrust of Americans. For example all major sales positions in North America are held by Germans. No promotion possibility for American sales employees. In my time almost all young talented Americans left the company; remainder were Germans and immigrants who accepted lower wages.
