      Pros

      Depending on manager (mine was fabulous), lots of independence, responsibility and training.

      Cons

      Company does not seem to recognize changing times. Because the key decision makers are in Monroe, Louisiana, a big urban view of consumer habits and expectations are lost on them.

      Good Vision, Not the Right Talent to Implement the Vision

      Pros

      In most cases, there was a good amount of flexibility and the compensation was on par with the market. There are many good people who are willing to do what it takes to get the job done, they just don't have the direction they need.

      Cons

      There is no room to advance in your career unless you are willing to move to HQ in Monroe. Leadership comes up with good visions but have no idea how to achieve their goals and they refuse to find the right talent with appropriate experience in place to get there. Instead, they rely on their hometown people that just don't have the expertise to pull it off.
