Pros

Offers sales incentives in the form of electronic gifts & debit card cash. Customer Care & Sales reps are left alone to be independent reps to make their own decisions.

Cons

Qwest representives are being gradually terminated due to the difference in pay wage scale of the newly hired CenturyLink reps in the same dept. (They couldn't give the Qwest union employees less with the negotiated contact renewal, so this was their way of "leveling out the playing field" so to speak). Sales takes precedence over customer service (the more calls reps take the more likely they will make the sales goals each month). Dental plan doesn't cover anything other than basic dental work and the health plan could be better as well.

Pros

fast paced work environment with a very flat management structure. very supportive of working remotely, very active board of directors involved with the long term strategy of the company

Cons

systems are not integrated. feels like 3 different companies. Shocked not to have single sign on for corporate access. requires 3 different logons.

Pros

To be honest this is hard. Luckily a few good people strive to work with one another the best they can

Cons

After the merger with Century Tel they've turned system admins into a sweat shop. Fewer people, same or more work. Cuts everywhere whenever times look bad just to make it look good to the investors. Bottom line is quality goes down because something has to stop being done. We used to do a lot of proactive work and daily work that improved lots of areas. Now it's a matter of trying to stay afloat period and not get burned out. People have already been diagnosed with severe depression. I'm sure if examined you will find half the people are borderline
