      Pros

      The company is trying hard to make it a great place to work, as the target is make it "the best in the world". Employees can feel the company is considerate and caring in all aspects of daily activities. It allows room for employees to work hard as well as to relax, and provides great support financially and technically. The expanded team that I am in is filled with superior field experts and really nice people. Personally I just can't find a better work place than at Lumentum.

      Cons

      As an employee, one has to be proactive in the job. Not being curious enough could miss a lot of fun.

      Reasonable benefits; bonus dependent on business unit performance; people are very easy to get along with; diversity inclusion and belonging dept do an amazing job and the CEO actively participates

      Cons

      Management can be disconnected from the workers at time; business units have almost no communication between them; even within the dept there’s little inter-team talk
