Last quarter, 32% of our new hires were due to loyal employees referring those they know to Lumentum. We strive to increase this percentage year-over-year. We look to hire truly the best and brightest, and if our current employees can also vouch for these candidates, that’s even better!

      Good people who want to improve work-life and focus on process improvements.

      Cons

      Too many reorg. with no clear end state. Leaders continue to move leaders into different positions and still expect lower cost management.

Lumentum is a new company and we continue to grow, we have hired new leaders as well as employees to address ongoing business needs. We have implemented Kaizen Principles at Lumentum, and have a focus on continuous process improvement.

      Pros

      Competitive Compensation and some really amazing people. It's too bad that upper management does not realize or recognize!

      Cons

      Don't expect to have much of a personal life; Lumentum wants all of your time. Don't expect to feel important; Lumentum will neither realize or recognize. Don't expect to feel heard; Lumentum does not want your opinions or ideas, only your compliance.
