      Let go after 8 years. "Reduction in Force"

      Pros

      All the people I worked with where like family. Up until they let me go I actually liked going to work. I was completely blindsided.

      Cons

      Moral very low. Never heard anything from management, good or bad. Upper management very disconnected from the worker bees. There are way to many projects managers. I would get emails from 3 different PM'S asking the same question.

      There are a lot of nice people and most managers are flexible. There are a lot of opportunities to learn new technology.

      Cons

      There are a lot of organizational problems and a lot of smart people have left the company.

      Worked with some really great people and miss them.

      Cons

      This company will squeeze every last drop of blood out of you if it means they make money. The hours you will work will easily exceed 70 hours a week + weekends but they pay they offer is an industry-low level. There is no time to do anything else in your personal life. After my experience with Lumos Fiber, the real question for me is how are they still in business?
