Work Overload Forces You to Put Long, Exhausting Hours

Pros

Many people worked remotely in this company, which allowed them to spend more time with their families and loved ones.

Cons

The workloads were insane here. Each employee had to work long hours daily and on weekends to combat the stress. This meant a poor work-life balance and no family life despite working from home. Please avoid working here if you value your mental peace. The ridiculous pay is not worth losing your mental peace.

Pros

This company knows how to get things done efficiently and quickly. Cohesive communication and prompt resolution are outstanding. Work/life balance is encouraged. Benefits are generous- especially for a company of its size. Remote-work is surprisingly not a damper for comradery. Even if you are unsure of who to contact within your department about a matter, I have always been met with an eagerness to help or direct me to the correct individual. Intentional quarterly meetings are hosted in all local employee markets by the CEO and upper management. Q&A is very transparent, and they even treat you to a nice luncheon. Having worked for my share of government, public, and private sector companies, I have never felt more at home than at Lumos.

Cons

Alot of positions are remote, so you may not enjoy rarely seeing your coworkers, but there are opportunities for engagement depending on your job function.

Pros

Things look good at first, then stress comes, then everything becomes awful!

Cons

The lies these people make are horrible! Management forces employees to write positive things about them and the company or they just make up fake ones! Don't believe anything you read specially when it sounds too good!!
