Pros

- Good scheduling - Fills a good niche of the patient population that does not qualify for home health but has great difficulty traveling to a clinic for physical therapy

Cons

- Compensation is not high enough to have to deal with scheduling, driving, and losing income for cancellations - Company collects $95 for a late cancellation but only gives us $40, even though it is lost revenue for us.

Thank you for your review. We are glad to hear that you find the scheduling and care model beneficial! Regarding compensation for cancellations, this is a challenging area for many companies, as recovering fees from patients is notoriously difficult. As a result, most choose not to provide a cancellation rate for per-diem therapists or independent contractors. For Luna, the $95 fee is intended to deter patients from canceling. Unfortunately, cancellations still occur, and while we strive to mitigate the impact, Luna incurs significant losses overall, even when the cancellation fee is applied and collected. Nevertheless, we are committed to respecting therapist time and shoulder the majority of the loss in support of our clinicians while working with patients to minimize cancellations. Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to continuing a meaningful partnership to deliver the best care!

Pros

I worked at Luna for a year and a half, they truly try to ensure you work in a positive, non tofu’s environment. The PRM leader at rocklin hq is very knowledgeable, understanding, and encouraging. You can tell he sincerely values his relationships with his subordinates. I will say one thing- during my year and a half there, 4 prople were let go. However- this was a matter of uncoachability and not putting in necessary effort, not toxic leadership. You will grow so much in this role and develop a very valuable skillset with good effort under their mentorship. I’d highly recommend working at Luna to anyone. With the skillset I developed, I was able to interview with 20+ 100k roles before choosing my next position and before Luna I had limited experience. That goes to show the value that Luna can bring you with the right effort and coachability.

Cons

As mentioned earlier, only one con, but it wouldn’t affect you if you put in the proper effort.

Pros

There are a lot of career advancement opportunities in this company. The work/life balance is really wonderful as well. Compensation wise, Luna is within fair market range for my position.

Cons

Medical benefits aren't the greatest but some of the other benefits like unlimited PTO is a nice trade off.
