Cons

This is by far one of the worst place to work. Management take really good care of themselves with quarterly bonuses while employees continue to work hard with no raise. Furthermore, you can forget about career opportunities or advancement. They would rather bring someone from outside in to fill in a position at a lower pay instead of promoting you to that position and give you a raise despite being well qualified for that position.

Cons

Awful leadership and management. Supervisors and manager of employment program are the classic boss that never know about something, but, always the bad result of the task is responsibility of the employee. If you pursue a degree in higher education, you'll be targeted as a menace for them. Why? They don't have an American degree. A total lack of professionalism and respect for others. Another point, the selection of the new personnel is responsibility of the superviser. You will be interviewed by your future boss! The promotion of employees is based on seniority and not in their capacities.

Pros

In the Head Start Program. The work has a huge impact on the children and families served. Lots of opportunity for professional growth and advancement. Excellent benefit package. LSF continues to listen to feedback and strives daily to provide a safe, happy, and productive workplace for all is employees.

Cons

Some positions need higher pay. Pay does not always reflect the amount of work that is required. Sometimes when people leave the agency other staff take on those responsibilities and don't receive proper support or compensation. There is definitely unreasonable work expectations at times.
